Job Summary:

As a

Software Development Engineer

, you will work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment to analyze, design, code, test, and maintain software components across multiple client engagements. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions within the SAP FI S/4HANA Central Finance landscape. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams, contributing to discussions, and ensuring that applications align with client requirements and organizational standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Work independently and serve as a

Subject Matter Expert (SME)

in SAP FI S/4HANA Central Finance. Actively participate and contribute in

team discussions

, providing technical insights and recommendations. Collaborate with

cross-functional teams

to gather business requirements and translate them into robust technical specifications.

Design, develop, test, and maintain

software components and integrations within SAP environments. Conduct

code reviews

to ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization. Troubleshoot and

resolve technical issues

promptly to ensure system stability and reliability. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Contribute to

maintenance, enhancements, and upgrades

of existing applications.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

Proficiency in

SAP FI S/4HANA Central Finance

. Strong understanding of

financial processes

and integration points within SAP environments. Experience with

application development methodologies

and the

software development life cycle (SDLC)

. Strong

problem-solving and debugging

skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Familiarity with

testing frameworks and tools

to ensure software quality.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Exposure to

SAP integration technologies

(e.g., ALE, IDocs, BAPIs, or APIs). Experience with

Agile/Scrum methodologies

. Knowledge of

SAP Financial Accounting (FI)

and

Controlling (CO)

modules.
