Role Overview
We are seeking a
Principal SAP FICO Consultant
with a minimum of
15 year of experience
to spearhead a high-stakes transition from
SAP ECC to S/4HANA
. This role requires a technical visionary who understands the nuances of financial migration and the complex regulatory landscape of the
Airport industry
.
As this is a hybrid role, you will split your time between our primary project site near
Bangalore
and our strategic hubs in
Kolkata, Bangalore, or Delhi
, ensuring seamless collaboration across our regional offices.
Key Responsibilities
Migration Leadership:
Execute end-to-end ECC to S/4HANA migration projects, specifically focusing on
Finance Conversion
and the adoption of the
Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
.
Aviation Finance Excellence:
Design and configure solutions tailored for the airline sector, including Passenger Revenue Accounting (PRA), IATA settlements (BSP/CASS), and interline billing.
Strategic Architecture:
Lead "As-Is" and "To-Be" workshops to modernize legacy financial processes into S/4HANA best practices.
Global Integration:
Ensure robust integration between FICO and logistics (MM/SD) as well as third-party airline reservation and fueling systems.
Mentorship:
Act as the final point of escalation for complex technical hurdles during the migration lifecycle.

Minimum Experience
10+ years
of core SAP FICO experience is mandatory.
S/4HANA Expertise
Proven track record with at least
two
S/4HANA migration cycles (Brownfield/Greenfield).
Industry Specific
Airlines implementation experience
is a huge plus (Revenue Accounting, IATA standards).
Technical Tools
Expert knowledge of
Migration Cockpit (LTMC)
, S/4HANA Finance conversion pre-checks, and Fiori.
Education
Bachelor's/Master's in Finance, Accounting, or a related technical field.
