Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced

SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Functional Consultant

with 10+ years of expertise in warehouse management processes and system implementations. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and delivering end-to-end SAP EWM solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of

SAP EWM solutions

for global projects and rollouts. Gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into

functional specifications

, and work with technical teams for developments. Configure

Inbound, Outbound, Internal Warehouse Processes, Physical Inventory, Yard Management, and Labor Management

in SAP EWM. Manage

warehouse structure design

(storage types, sections, bins, activity areas, work centers). Configure

RF framework

and support

warehouse automation systems

integration. Perform

system testing (Unit, Integration, UAT)

and support defect resolution. Provide

end-user training, documentation, and change management support

. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure

smooth cutover, go-live, and hypercare support

. Collaborate with SAP Technical Consultants for enhancements, interfaces, and custom solutions. Support upgrades, migrations, and transition from

WM to EWM / Embedded EWM in S/4HANA

.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of overall SAP experience, with at least

6+ years in SAP EWM (Decentralized & Embedded)

. Strong knowledge of

warehouse operations

(inbound, outbound, internal movements, cross-docking, wave management). Expertise in

SAP EWM configuration

including: Warehouse Structure (Storage Types, Activity Areas, Resources) Inbound & Outbound Logistics Yard & Labor Management Slotting & Rearrangement Physical Inventory Processes Good understanding of

integration points

with SAP MM, SD, TM, and PP. Experience with

RF integration and configuration

. Exposure to

material handling equipment (MHE) automation integration

. Strong skills in preparing

Functional Specifications

for WRICEFs. Hands-on experience in

S/4HANA Embedded EWM

is highly desirable. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

SAP EWM certification. Experience in

global template rollouts and large-scale warehouse implementations

. Exposure to

Fiori apps and digital supply chain solutions

. Knowledge of

transportation (SAP TM) and yard logistics integration

Contract length: 8 months

Pay: ₹441,355.10 - ₹1,718,018.90 per year
