Introduction for position


We are seeking an experienced and motivated SAP Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP EHS modules (Product Safety & Compliance, Dangerous goods and Harzardous goods) and their integration with other SAP components such as MM, PM, and HR. You will play a key role in designing, configuring, and implementing EHS solutions to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, while optimizing business processes. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with organizational goals.


Your tasks

Provide SAP EHS application support, including Product Safety and Dangerous Goods modules. Assist in implementation and ongoing support of SAP EHS processes and related applications (WWI server, MSDS Portal, Customer Information Portal). Review, maintain, and update EHS master data using systems like Expert and ERC Data Content. Handle user requests via SolMan ITSM system, email, or phone, including classification, prioritization, and resolution. Process and review authorization requests and manage ITSM software change requests. Monitor background jobs, interfaces, and batch input maps; resolve issues proactively. Support creation, updating, and distribution of Product Safety Data Sheets (PSDS) to logistics systems, product managers, and customers. Maintain and update SERC (Safety, Environment, Regulatory Compliance) information in SAP systems. Support PCN (Product Change Notification) processes in coordination with relevant teams. Collaborate closely with EH&S functional consultants and project teams for small customization tasks and process improvements. Document support problems, solutions, and ensure knowledge sharing for operational efficiency. Participate in problem management and task force initiatives to improve SAP EHS processes. Ensure system availability and optimization in alignment with SLA.
