3+ Years of experience with Microsoft Azure

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure and Linux Developer with strong expertise in Linux administration and Azure cloud technologies. The candidate will be responsible for hosting, supporting, and maintaining customer systems in the Azure cloud environment. This role requires the ability to design, implement, and manage high-availability, multi-tier infrastructure solutions while adhering to best practices for disaster recovery, business continuity, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and support infrastructure in Azure cloud.



Develop strategies for building private and hybrid cloud solutions using Azure.



Provide architectural guidance for Azure solutions, ensuring high availability and scalability.



Design application and deployment architectures for on-premise to cloud migrations.



Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues in Azure and Linux environments.



Ensure security, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies are in place.



Automate deployments and infrastructure management using tools and scripting languages.



Provide on-call support, including weekend tasks, as part of a rotation.



Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth incident handling and change management.

Technical Skills Required:

Azure Expertise:

IAAS, PaaS, ARM Templates, App Services, Storage options, Azure AD/ADFS, Networking (VNETs, NSGs, ExpressRoute, VPNs), Security, Operations, OMS, Intune.

Linux/OS Expertise:

Strong administration knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware), monitoring, performance tuning, and high availability.

Scripting & Automation:

Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell.

Configuration Management Tools:

Chef, Puppet, Ansible.

Networking:

TCP/IP, DHCP, IP Routing, Name Resolution.

Other Concepts:

Backup and recovery, LDAP, disaster recovery planning, business continuity, incident/change management processes.

Qualifications (Preferred):

Microsoft Azure certifications (MS - Azure 70-533 / 70-534).



Strong communication and problem-solving skills.



Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
