Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated SAP Developer to contribute to our global SAP initiatives, operating under the technical standards defined by the Enterprise Architecture team. The Developer will be responsible for the hands-on design, development, unit testing, and deployment of custom solutions, enhancements, and integrations across our core SAP and integrated enterprise systems. This role is key to ensuring that all custom developments are scalable, secure, and aligned with our enterprise architecture roadmap. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy robust custom solutions using ABAP, ABAP Objects, ABAP on HANA (e.g., CDS Views), and other SAP development tools.
Develop and maintain modern, user-friendly applications using SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and OData services.
Execute development tasks across Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms, adhering to the Enterprise Architect's defined standards and frameworks.
Ensure all custom code is well-documented, follows strict coding standards, and is optimized for performance, especially within the SAP S/4HANA landscape.
Develop and maintain interfaces to ensure seamless integration between SAP (S/4HANA, SD, SCM, SRM, etc.) and other enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce, MES, Data Lakes) using technologies like SAP PI/PO or SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), as defined by the Enterprise Architect.
Strictly follow the defined architecture roadmap, security policies, data governance policies, and development best practices established by the Enterprise Architecture and Governance teams.
Work with technical teams to deploy and manage solutions within our defined hybrid cloud/on-prem SAP environments.
Prepare comprehensive unit test plans and execute testing to ensure the quality and stability of all custom solutions.
Provide technical analysis and resolution for complex development and performance issues, serving as a subject matter expert for custom code.
Work closely with Functional Consultants, Solution Architects, Operations Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to translate functional specifications into robust technical designs. Required Background and Technical Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Minimum 8+ years of professional SAP development experience.
Proficiency in classic and object-oriented ABAP, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements Framework, and BDCs.
Proven experience with development in SAP S/4HANA environments, including creating and optimizing CDS Views and consuming data from the HANA database.
Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications using SAP Fiori/SAPUI5.
Practical experience with SAP integration technologies (e.g., OData, IDocs, RFCs, and exposure to CPI or PI/PO is a plus).
Familiarity with the architecture and functional integration points of core SAP modules (e.g., SD, SCM, MM, FI/CO).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to define technical solutions from business requirements. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP Cloud Platform (BTP) services.
Prior exposure to MES or manufacturing execution system integrations.
Experience working in an environment that follows ITIL or Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Relevant SAP technical certifications.
