About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Lead to the execution of the data migration activities for our SAP S/4HANA transformation program. This role will have a team of data migration analysts reporting to them.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end SAP data migration execution. Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data scope, mapping, cleansing, and transformation rules. Manage data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes using Syniti, other third-party tools, and the SAP data cockpit. Coordinate with functional leads to validate data requirements and ensure alignment with business processes. Oversee data quality assurance, reconciliation, and defect resolution. Develop and maintain data migration documentation, including data load plans, cutover strategies, and risk mitigation plans. Manage a team of data analysts and developers, ensuring timely delivery of migration milestones. Support mock loads, testing cycles (SIT, UAT), and go-live cutover activities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. 10+ years of experience in SAP data migration, including at least 3 full-cycle SAP implementations. Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data structures and migration tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, LSMW, LTMC, BODS). Proficient with the Syniti tool. Syniti certified. Proficient with loading data using the SAP data cockpit. Experience with legacy system data extraction and transformation. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex data migration projects. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment. Proven track record of delivering the data migration activities on-time and on-budget. Excellent communication skills.
