Role Summary
We're seeking a seasoned SAP Data Migration Lead with hands-on ETL expertise and a strong track record of delivering multiple end-to-end (E2E) SAP implementations. This role will own the migration strategy, governance, and execution across all phases-from discovery and scoping through load & reconciliation-ensuring high-quality, compliant, and business-ready data in SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end data migration strategy, scope, cutover approach, and success criteria aligned to program milestones.
• Establish data migration governance, standards, templates, and quality KPIs (completeness, accuracy, conformity, consistency, and timeliness).
• Lead data object prioritization (e.g., master data, transactional/historical, configuration-related reference data).
• Drive the Data Readiness program with Business and IT team.
• Lead data mapping workshops; define transformation rules from legacy sources to SAP target structures.
• Design and build ETL workflows (extraction, profiling, cleansing, transformation, enrichment) with auditability and repeatability.
• Plan and execute mock loads, dress rehearsals and final cutover, including delta strategies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for data migration across Business, Functional, Technical, and PMO streams.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 8-10 years specifically in SAP Data migration.
• Hands-on any ETL tool (e.g., SAP Data Services/BODS, Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, or SSIS).
• Strong knowledge of SAP data structures for relevant modules: S/4HANA (MM/SD/FI/CO/PP/PM/WM/EWM), SAP CRM, etc.
• Experience with data quality, profiling, and master data management
• Proficiency in SAP load technologies (IDoc/BAPI/PI/PO, LSMW/BDC, S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, Fiori apps, APIs).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.

Nice-to-Have / Preferred

• Experience with Power BI for reconciliation dashboards.
• Experience in Macros.

• Data Migration Strategy & Plan (scope, objects, cycles, cutover).
• Data Mapping Specifications & transformation rules per object.
• Migration Runbooks (mock loads, dress rehearsals, cutover).
• Data Quality Reports & Reconciliation dashboards with sign-offs.
• Risk/Issue logs, Readiness checklists, and Mock load exit criteria.
