Minimum 7+ years of SAP CO experience with working knowledge of PS
Position Summary:
The Functional Analyst in SAP CO with knowledge of PS is responsible for resolving issues and managing change requests in line with the ERP roadmap for the region. The role focuses on continuous development and improvement of SAP applications in alignment with business strategy.
Primary Responsibilities:
For the AMEA Region, handle tasks including technical and functional integration, covering end-to-end processes in a multi-country solution.
Collaborate closely with other ERP functions and non-ERP domains to provide high-value solutions.
Conduct requirement analysis to decide which requirements can be covered by standard functionalities, which need enhancements, and which can be managed through workarounds.
Support validation and prioritization of incoming business demand in collaboration with IS Service Managers and/or Global IS Solution Architects.
Prepare functional use case specifications and testing plans for user acceptance testing.
Keep knowledge up to date regarding new and emerging IS technology and industry practices, bringing learning into ABB within the scope of relevant IS solutions.
Collaborate with users in projects and problem management to maintain, develop, and deploy the best feasible and cost-efficient IS solutions/services for the business.
Provide consulting, advice, and support for the installation of new IS solutions/services or modification of existing ones.
Work with users to understand current procedures, clarify requirements, and support IS process optimization.
Contribute to IS Problem and Incident Management goals by identifying recurring defects and eliminating them.
Support issue resolution during project delivery to prevent delays or negative impacts on projects/services.
Translate functional requirements into consistent application architecture and end-to-end solution delivery.
Participate in preparation of project documentation (e.g., project charter, functional design) and maintain SAP documentation.
Implement and coordinate change requests in line with Release Management to meet delivery timelines.
Ensure all new solutions are thoroughly tested.
Develop training materials and user manuals for new solutions; deliver SAP training for key users.
Resolve incidents according to valid procedures and communicate with users in line with SLA requirements.
