Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Clean Core & Extensibility Architect with strong expertise in ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS, and the 3-Tier Extensibility Model. The role is responsible for defining clean-core standards, modernizing legacy custom code, and delivering upgrade-safe extensions across SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.

Key Responsibilities

Define and enforce Clean Core strategy, governance, and technical development standards. Modernize legacy WRICEF objects into upgrade-safe extensions using BAdIs, Events, Released APIs, and the RAP model. Architect and develop solutions using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS Views, OData, and Cloud APIs. Implement In-App, Developer, and Side-by-Side extensibility across S/4HANA and SAP BTP.

Required Skills

12+ years of

SAP ABAP and S/4HANA

development experience. Strong hands-on experience with

ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS, BAdIs, Events,

and

released APIs.

Deep understanding of the

3-Tier Extensibility Model

and

upgrade-safe development.

Experience with

SAP BTP ABAP Environmen

t and side-by-side extension patterns.

Preferred Skills

Experience with

SAP BTP

services such as Event Mesh and Integration Suite. Exposure to

CAP or cloud-native

development. Familiarity with event-driven architecture and API-first design.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
