Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior SAP BW Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 7-9 years of experience in SAP BW, with a strong background in analytics, data modeling, and business intelligence solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP BW architecture and the ability to lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: Data Modeling and Design: Design and implement complex data models using SAP BW. Develop and optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity within the SAP BW environment. Project Leadership: Lead SAP BW projects from conception to delivery, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Manage project timelines, resources, and risks effectively. Solution Development: Develop and maintain BW objects such as InfoObjects, InfoCubes, DSOs, MultiProviders, and CompositeProviders. Implement SAP BW queries and reports using BEx Analyzer and other reporting tools. Integrate SAP BW with other SAP modules and external systems as needed. Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize system performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and processing. Implement best practices for SAP BW performance tuning and system maintenance. Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other team members. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP BW applications and infrastructure. Documentation and Training: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP BW processes and solutions. Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance team and user knowledge of SAP BW functionalities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7-9 years of experience working with SAP BW in a similar role. Strong knowledge of SAP BW architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes. Experience with SAP BW/4HANA is highly desirable. Proficiency in SAP BW reporting tools such as BEx Analyzer, SAP Lumira, or SAP Analytics Cloud. Excellent project management and leadership skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills: Experience with SAP Business Objects or other BI tools. Familiarity with ABAP programming for custom enhancements. Understanding of SAP HANA and its integration with SAP BW
