SAP BW Architect
Job Title: SAP BW Architect
Reports to: SAP Global Lead - IT, Security, Processes, Architecture & ERP Technology
Location: Pune/Bangalore
Purpose of the role:
We are looking for an experienced SAP BW Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise data warehouse solutions. The role requires expertise in SAP BW/4HANA and modern analytics platforms, with the ability to collaborate across teams and vendors to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect SAP BW solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Review and validate data models, ETL processes, and reporting designs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams for seamless integration.
• Provide technical leadership in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and related tools.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
• Drive adoption of new-generation products such as SAP Data Warehouse Cloud and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing BW systems for improved performance.
• Document architecture, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• 12-15 years of experience in SAP BW architecture, design, and implementation.
• Expertise in SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA modeling.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and awareness on SAP BDC is added plus
• Proficiency in ETL tools, data modeling, and reporting frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of integration with ERPs such as SAP S/4HANA and data lakes like Snowflake.
• Experience with integration to third-party systems and hybrid architectures.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
