JOB BRIEF: -
We are looking for a seasoned Techno-Functional SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) Consultant with deep functional expertise and strong technical acumen to support our SAP landscape in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in OTC processes within regulated industries, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in order management, billing, delivery, and integration with related modules and external systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
Design, configure, and support end-to-end SAP OTC (SD module) processes, including Sales Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Delivery, Credit Management, and Customer Master Data.
2.
Work closely with business stakeholders in Pharma/Biotech to gather requirements, translate them into functional/technical specifications, and implement effective SAP OTC solutions.
3.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MM, WM, FI/CO, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers for seamless process integration.
4.
Conduct GAP analysis and provide enhancements to align SAP functionality with life sciences compliance and business objectives (e.g., GxP, FDA regulations).
5.
Handle interfaces with external systems such as CRM, e-commerce platforms, and EDI for order and invoice processing.
6.
Support end-user training, UAT, cutover planning, and hypercare for project and enhancement rollouts.
7.
Develop functional specs for custom developments, partner with ABAP developers, and perform unit/integration testing.
8.
Participate in SAP system upgrades, migrations (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA), and digital transformation initiatives.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1.
6-10 years of SAP OTC / SD experience with a solid mix of functional and technical (ABAP debugging, IDocs, BAPIs, User Exits) capabilities.
2.
Prior experience working in Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry is mandatory.
3.
Strong understanding of regulated business processes, such as serialization, batch management, cold chain logistics, and compliance reporting.
4.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred (especially in SD/OTC modules).
5.
Hands-on experience with EDI transactions (850, 855, 856, 810, etc.) and integration with logistics partners.
6.
Experience in GxP validated environments, including documentation and audit-readiness.
7.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
8.
Ability to work independently and lead business discussions, workshops, and stakeholder interactions.
