You will play a crucial role in shaping the basis and data fundamentals of Data Analytics and actively contribute to the success of the digital transformation at ZEISS. In this challenging function, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions, on-premise and cloud based, to support data the Architecture & Integration team on solutions to ensure a stable and future-proof SAP BI Platform. Due to the diversity of technologies currently in use, this is the perfect opportunity to bring and make usage of all your skills and experience, and in parallel learn the most recent SAP BI solutions in the market.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesWork with SAP BI architects and platform team on the design and development of applications on SAP BWonHANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAC and SAP HANA Cloud Assess, identify areas of improvement and optimize critical BI solutions running in the platform Provide technical leadership and guidance to other developers and team members, ensuring that they are following best practices and delivering high-quality solutions Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in SAP BI Cloud solutions and provide recommendations for new technologies and tools that can be leveraged to improve data integration and reporting Develop and maintain technical documentation for the applications created or enhanced

Education & Work ExperienceTechnical or University Degree in computer science, software engineering or similar field Solid experience in SAP ABAP (incl. OO) Very good experience with ABAP CDS views, SQL and Python are a plus Experience in SAP BI solutions such as SAP BWonHANA, BW4HANA or Datasphere Experience on data integrations scenarios with SAP HANA, SAP BTP, BW and/or Azure Experience with ETL performance improvement and troubleshooting Very strong technical and problem-solving skills Knowledge on SAP Best Practices with technical implementation experience and working in an agile setup Advanced English language skills Good communication with peers, technical teams, and business representatives Experience working within an international environment
