Description and Requirements

Position Overview / Purpose

Leads the architecture, upgrade, and administration of SAP Basis for S/4HANA environments, public cloud deployments, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) integrations

Key Responsibilities

Lead SAP BASIS administration activities across various SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, etc.).

Manage and maintain SAP HANA database including installation, upgrades, backups, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

Perform system copies, refreshes, and migrations (OS/DB Migration, HANA Migration).

Support SAP installations and patching, Handle user administration, roles, and authorizations.

Manage Disaster Recovery (DR) setup, failover testing, and high availability (HA) configurations. Provide 24/7 production support under rotational shifts.

Core Technical Expertise

SAP Basis & HANA, Azure/AWS, S/4HANA, Solution Manager, UNIX/Linux/Windows, automation.

Certifications / Qualifications

SAP Basis & HANA, Solution Manager, AWS/Azure/BTP, ITIL, PMP.



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline that provides a solid background in IT.

Experience & Competencies

10-16 yrs SAP tech leadership/project mgmt.
