We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to manage and support critical SAP environments. This role is key to ensuring system reliability, performance, and seamless upgrades or migrations in complex enterprise landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform SAP system installations, configurations, and daily Basis administration for NetWeaver and S/4HANA environments.
Lead SAP system upgrades, enhancement package installations, and complex migrations (OS/DB, Unicode, and S/4HANA using SUM/DMO).
Manage large-scale SAP landscapes with multiple integration points such as PI/PO, Fiori, BW/4HANA, and Solution Manager.
Set up and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) configurations using tools like SUSE HAE, Red Hat Cluster, or Windows Failover Clustering.
Configure and test HANA System Replication (HSR) and other DR solutions.
Design and implement backup, recovery, and failover strategies.
Troubleshoot performance issues and perform root cause analysis in high-pressure scenarios.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders for issue resolution and project execution.
Key Skills & Qualifications
6-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration.
Proven expertise in SAP upgrades and migration projects.
Strong knowledge of HA and DR architecture in SAP environments.
Experience with SAP landscape components like Fiori, BW/4HANA, and Solution Manager.
Proficiency in using HANA replication and automation tools for DR setup.
Solid troubleshooting, performance tuning, and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
