Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

SAP BASIS Consultant

to provide

remote technical support during night shifts

for a US-based organization. This is a

freelance opportunity

, ideal for professionals with strong SAP BASIS expertise who can independently manage and resolve support tickets.

Key Responsibilities

Provide SAP BASIS administration and support for

SAP HANA

and

Oracle

database environments. Manage

system upgrades, kernel updates, and patch implementations

. Handle

Change and Transport Management (CTS)

across SAP landscapes. Configure, monitor, and maintain

SAP Web Dispatcher

and related components. Perform

memory management

, performance tuning, and system optimization. Monitor

RFC connections

, background jobs, and system logs. Ensure

system availability, performance, and backup integrity

. Troubleshoot and resolve incident and service tickets within defined SLAs. Maintain detailed

documentation

of activities and resolutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 8

years of hands-on SAP BASIS administration

experience. Strong knowledge of

SAP HANA DB

and

Oracle DB

. Expertise in

CTS management

and

Web Dispatcher configuration

. Proficiency in

system monitoring, performance tuning, and RFC setup

. Solid understanding of

Linux/Unix environments

and SAP system architecture. Excellent

analytical and troubleshooting skills

. Strong communication and ability to

work independently during night shifts

.

SAP BASIS or HANA certification

preferred.
