SUMMARY

Consultant will be responsible for implementing data warehousing and reporting solutions based on SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA Analytics and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) in various industry and functional domains. The consultant will interact with onsite team members or at times directly with customer to understand requirement or build as per given design. He/she will be responsible for technical implementation of the business model using HANA or BW/4HANA, performance improvements, replication of data from source systems and reporting on top of data warehousing using one of the SAP solutions like SAC or sometimes Business Objects. Consultant will use defined methodologies during requirement gathering, design, build/ test and deployment.

For this Role, consultant should have experience in at least 5-7 full life cycle implementation on SAP BW or BW/4HANA or HANA Modelling and also experience with frontend reporting and dashboarding using SAC or BO in a lead or Solution Architect role.

• Create business blueprint as per the functional requirements provided
• Prepare Solution Architecture and produce Technical design document
• Create prototype as necessary
• Deliver solution as per the business blueprint and technical design
• Work as part of large team or work independently
• Guide team members
• Flexibility to work on various skills and proactive approach to delivery
• Position solutions to customer at pre-sales stage
• Drive enablement of the team

ROLE REQUIREMENT

Qualification / Skills and Competencies

• A degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance or related field
• Minimum years of Education required: 16 years or more
• Expert level knowledge of SAP BW or HANA modelling and scripting or both including ability to write complex stored procedures. High level knowledge of various replication methods to HANA or BW
• Expert level knowledge of various reporting techniques on top of data warehousing on SAP Analytics Cloud or Business Objects or Analysis for Office or in multiple tools
• Knowledge of various deployment modes of HANA and BW
• Ability to work in and drive large engagements of team size 10+
• Good core consulting skills - Oral and written communication, organization and planning, client facing and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of latest trends in Analytics space including platforms and solutions from other vendors

Work Experience

• Minimum of 3 full life cycle implementations in two or more of the following skills: SAP HANA, SAP BW, SAP SAC, SAP BO, S/4HANA Analytics modelling using CDS views
• 5-15 years of work experience in above mentioned skills
• Experience working on mixed modelling with BW and HANA native modelling
• Expertise in collecting requirements and designing of solutions
• Knowledge and experience on SAP Analytics Cloud is preferred
• Knowledge on S/4HANA Analytics like building and extending CDS Views, Creating Query Views or Building KPIs using KPI Modeller is preferred
• Knowledge of development on HANA 2.0 like HANA XSA Development, nodeJS or Predictive Analytics would be an added advantage
• ABAP development experience will be nice to have and will give added advantage
• Hands-on experience in advanced analytics domain like Predictive Analytics or Big Data Analytics is a plus
