to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs on SAP ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming). The trainer will be responsible for equipping learners with strong technical and practical skills in ABAP development aligned with real-world SAP project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver classroom, virtual, or corporate training sessions on
SAP ABAP
Design and update training materials, presentations, exercises, and assessments
Train participants on:
ABAP programming fundamentals
Data Dictionary (DDIC)
Reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV)
Modularization techniques
Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs)
Smart Forms / SAP Scripts / Adobe Forms
Module Pool Programming
Interfaces (BDC, IDocs, RFC, BAPI)
Object-Oriented ABAP
Provide hands-on practice and real-time project scenarios
Evaluate learner performance and provide feedback
Support learners with doubt-clearing sessions and mentoring
Keep training content aligned with latest SAP versions and best practices
Assist with certification preparation (if applicable)
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Strong expertise in
SAP ABAP development
Minimum
3-5 years of SAP ABAP experience
Prior experience in
training, mentoring, or teaching
preferred
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA
Knowledge of real-time SAP project lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications
SAP ABAP Certification
Experience in corporate or online training environments
Exposure to ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP
Experience working on end-to-end SAP implementations
