Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced ABAP S/4HANA Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality SAP solutions within the SAP S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical ABAP skills with expertise in S/4HANA tools and technologies to support development, enhancements, integrations, and performance optimization of business-critical applications. Key Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain ABAP programs including reports, enhancements, interfaces, forms, workflows, and RICEFW objects within SAP S/4HANA.
Design and implement Core Data Services (CDS) views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), OData services, and other HANA-optimized development objects.
Collaborate with functional analysts and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure high-performance and scalable solutions.
Assist in S/4HANA implementation and migration activities (including ECC S/4HANA conversion).
Build and support interfaces using RFC, BAPI, IDocs, APIs and web services to integrate SAP with external systems.
Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, coding standards, and documentation requirements. Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience (typically ~3 8+ years) in SAP ABAP development, preferably with hands-on work in S/4HANA projects.
Strong proficiency in ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP.
Experience with CDS Views, AMDP, OData services, and ABAP on HANA techniques.
Knowledge of SAP interfaces and integration methods (RFC, BAPI, IDocs, Web Services).
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills. Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), SAP BTP, or CI/CD tools.
Prior involvement in end-to-end S/4HANA implementations or conversions.
SAP certification related to ABAP or S/4HANA development.
Familiarity with core SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD) from a technical perspective. Work Environment & Collaboration
Work closely with project teams, including functional consultants, architects, testers, and business users.
Participate in agile development cycles and code deployment activities
