SAP ABAP HR



Location: Mumbai, Gurugram (Delhi/NCR), Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata



Hybrid role



Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and customize reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF) using ABAP HR. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and ease of future maintenance. Create and enhance custom infotypes to address specific business requirements, ensuring all solutions are tailored to meet organizational needs. Develop and maintain robust interfaces to facilitate seamless data exchange between SAP HR/SuccessFactors and the SAP payroll system, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and timely information flow. Ensure that all development activities consistently align with SAP best practices and established coding standards, promoting high-quality, maintainable, and efficient solutions. Possess hands-on experience with HCM functionalities and have worked extensively in SAP HCM and SuccessFactors environments.
Skills Required:

Experience:

Minimum of 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP ABAP HR, including a strong consulting background.
SAP ABAP:

Demonstrated proficiency in ABAP programming, including expertise in data dictionary concepts, function modules, smart forms, and leveraging BAPIs and BADIs for system enhancements.
SAP HR Modules:

Comprehensive understanding of key HR modules such as Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Personnel Time Management (PT), and Payroll (PY).
SAP HR Integration:

Experienced in integrating SAP SuccessFactors with ECC/ECP payroll systems using both point-to-point and Business Integration Builder (BIB) replication methods. Demonstrated proficiency in employee data replication and advanced error analysis to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing across platforms.
S/4HANA:

Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Core Data Services (CDS) views.
Enhancements & User Exits/BadIs:

Extensive experience utilizing user exits and BadIs to customize and extend standard SAP functionalities in line with specific business requirements.
Integration:

Strong knowledge in integrating SAP HR with other SAP modules as well as external, non-SAP systems, ensuring smooth data flow and process efficiency.
Testing & Debugging:

Proficient in unit and integration testing, as well as effective debugging, ensuring high-quality solutions and rapid issue resolution. Experience in debugging issues during employee replication.
Forms:

Demonstrated experience in developing remuneration statements using both SAP smart forms and Adobe forms, delivering clear and user-friendly payroll outputs tailored to business requirements.
OOABAP:

Hands-on experience in object-oriented ABAP (OOABAP) development, with proficiency in utilizing advanced ABAP 7.4+ syntax and features to build robust, scalable solutions.
Specialized Skills:

Hands-on knowledge of OData APIs within SAP SuccessFactors, including the ability to use the Open Data Protocol (OData) for accessing and integrating HR data efficiently. Designed and developed custom remote function calls (RFCs) and ABAP logic to enable seamless data exchange between SAP and third-party systems. Demonstrated ability to integrate SAP HR with SuccessFactors utilizing SAP cloud integration tools. Strong knowledge of SAP HCM functionalities, including maintaining employee master data, managing payroll information, and processing payroll operations.
Implementation Experience:

Successfully completed at least two end-to-end SAP implementation projects, with hands-on experience in developing reports, interfaces, and forms from the initial stages, closely adhering to functional specifications.
Certification:

SAP Certified Associate - Back-End Developer - ABAP Cloud (not mandatory)
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication abilities, capable of explaining complex business concepts clearly and concisely. Customer-focused mindset, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ?1,000,000.00 - ?3,000,000.00 per year
