Required skills/knowledge:
At least 12+ years of hands-on experience in ABAP development
Experience with ABAP OO
Experience working in an S/4HANA implementation or support project
Experience developing Adobe Forms, including JavaScript scripting
Experience designing and modeling OData services using the SAP Gateway Service Builder
Experience creating and enhancing CDS Views
Involvement in project work for various SAP modules
Should be able to provide techno-functional support on SAP ABAP functionality
Ability to coordinate with Offshore and Onsite Technical resources and with functional team
Experience working in a multinational, hybrid project
Added skills/knowledge:
Experience developing and supporting Workflow
Knowledge and understanding of SAP Fiori and Fiori Elements
Experience with RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP)
Experience with HANA Native development
ABAP WebDynpro and Floor Plan Management (FPM) Development
Experienced in Eclipse with ABAP Development Tools (ADT).
Familiar to work on transactions SEGW,/IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE, and SMGW.
Ability to debug OData services using tools like SAP Gateway Client and SAP Gateway Hub.
Backend Debugging via ST22, SM21, and ST01 for troubleshooting.
Understanding how to send and manipulate data from ABAP back-end to Fiori front-end via OData services.
ABAP on BTP: Familiar to ABAP in Cloud environment. Able to create, manage, and deploy ABAP applications in the cloud. Knowledgeable in cloud-native concepts and adapting ABAP code for cloud environments.
Cloud-Optimized ABAP: Knowledge of optimizing ABAP code to run in the cloud.
Experienced in OData services and Core Data Services views.
Job Responsibilities
Developing ABAP solutions as per the design document requirements
Perform maintenance, enhancement and/or development work of SAP programs
Defect resolution including debugging complex scenarios
Ensure all code is well documented and can be navigated by others in the next phase (testing)
