Role Summary

As an

SAP Application Developer

, you will be a key driver in supporting and advancing our Procurement and Supply Chain initiatives. This role is responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and support of SAP solutions across critical business areas, including Accounts Payable (AP), Materials Management (MM), Procurement, Warehouse Management (WM), and Inventory Management.

You will leverage deep technical expertise in

ABAP

and

SAP S/4HANA

to bridge the gap between complex business requirements and high-performance technical applications. This position requires a proactive professional capable of defining system strategies, prototyping innovative solutions, and collaborating across multidisciplinary IT and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development:

Lead the technical design, prototyping, and development of SAP applications to meet evolving business needs in ECC and S/4HANA environments.

Functional Expertise:

Provide deep technical and functional insights into SAP modules including AP, MM, WM, and Inventory Management.

System Support:

Perform break/fix analysis, resolve production issues, and provide on-call support for supply chain and procurement processes.

Lifecycle Management:

Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering, testing, training, and deployment.

Process Optimization:

Map business requirements to standard SAP processes to minimize unnecessary customization and technical debt.

Emerging Technology:

Research and recommend the adoption of emerging technologies (such as Fiori, OData, and AI) to enhance business efficiency.

Collaboration:

Act as a liaison between the business and IT teams (Security, Compliance, PMO, and Operations) to ensure seamless project execution.

Technical Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in

SAP ABAP

development within both ECC and S/4HANA environments.

S/4HANA Expertise:

At least 5 years specifically focused on development within the SAP S/4HANA landscape.

Track Record:

Successful completion of 2-3 full lifecycle SAP Supply Chain transformation projects.

Fiori:

Proficiency in SAP Fiori for developing modern, user-centric applications.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

Advanced ABAP:

Strong experience with RICEF objects, User Exits, BAdIs, BAPIs, Enhancements, and

AMDP

.

Integration:

Expertise in integrating SAP with non-SAP systems using

SAP PO (Process Orchestration)

or

CPI (Cloud Platform Integration)

.

Web Services:

Hands-on experience with SLT, OData, UI5, and REST-based web services.

EDI/IDoc:

Proficiency in electronic data interchange and IDoc processing for supply chain automation.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
