Summary:

UST is looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with strong experience in modern ABAP development, RICEFW, Fiori/UI5, and OData services to support large-scale SAP implementation, enhancement, and support projects across global customers.

The Opportunity:

Design, develop, and enhance SAP ABAP solutions aligned with SAP standard business processes

Work on end-to-end project lifecycles including Implementation, Upgrade, Rollout, Support, and Enhancements

Collaborate closely with functional teams and architects to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions

Build and extend SAP Fiori applications using UI5, CDS annotations, and OData services

Contribute to innovation, performance optimization, and adoption of new SAP technologies

What you need:

Strong understanding of SAP standard solutions and large consolidation projects

Hands-on experience in ABAP Report Programming (Classical, Interactive, OO, ALV/SALV, Module Pool)

Expertise in RICEFW objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflow

Experience in modern ABAP concepts such as OOABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, Embedded Analytics

Ability to work flexibly across development and maintenance tasks with strong communication skills



Understand business requirements and ensure adherence to user stories and functional specifications

Propose solution designs and validate them with technical architects and stakeholders

Develop high-quality ABAP code, unit tests, and technical documentation

Perform performance optimization, debugging, SPAU/SPDD activities, and OSS note implementation

Follow development processes including code reviews, JIRA updates, release, and change management

Required Skills:

ABAP Enhancements: BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits, Enhancement Spots, BTE, Implicit & Explicit Enhancements

Interfaces: BAPI, ALE/IDocs, AIF, Proxies, OData Gateway, Middleware integration

Forms: Smart Forms, SAP Script, Adobe Forms

SAP Fiori/UI5 development, custom application development, and standard app extensions

Strong knowledge of Data Dictionary objects, LUW, Work Processes, and performance tuning

Desired Skills:

Experience with RAP Programming Model, BRF+, SLT, and Git repositories

Exposure to CDS-based UI modeling using annotations, Gateway, and Web IDE

Functional knowledge in any of SD, FI, Retail, SCM, Logistics, or CAR

Experience working in Agile/Scrum or other project methodologies

Exposure to Open Stack or UI frameworks with minimal development experience

Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline

Relevant SAP ABAP certifications are an added advantage
