SAP ABAP Consultant
Location- Gurgaon
Exp. - 4- 10 yrs.
Roles & Responsibilities
? Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions.
? Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of the project.
? Transform business function requirements into technical program specs to code, test and debug programs.
? Develop, code, document and execute unit tests, systems, integration and acceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity.
? Perform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functions
? Engage other technical team members in the design, delivery, and deployment of solutions.
? Ensure integration system activities including monitoring the technical architecture (particularly scalability, availability and archiving) meet all SLA's.
? Manage operational support, performing work during change windows as well as providing on call support as required by the team.
? Undertake performance tuning activities for SAP integration activities.
? Mentor and coach junior developer resources.
? Provide consulting services on new and existing initiatives
? Expertise in creating ABAP Data Dictionary Objects
? Development experience in BAPI
? Strong experience in RICEFW (Reports, Interface, Conversions, Exit, Forms and Workflow)
? Hands-on in Enhancements (BADI and Exit)
? Hands-on in SAP Conversion programs like BDCs, LSMW etc.
? Hands-on in Scripts, Smart forms and Adobe forms
? Hands-on in User exits, customer exits and search exits
? Knowledge on Module pool programming
? Ability to do provide performance analysis and prerequisite
? Extensively worked on transferring data from legacy to SAP systems using various data transfer techniques such as LSMW (using Batch Input and Direct input) and BDC.
? Expertise in Dialog Programming Using Screen Painter and Menu Painter.
? Worked with interface for file upload/download using file-handling techniques.
? Developed and modified existing forms using SMARTFORMS and SAP Script.
? Migrated SAP Script Layout to SMARTFORMS.
? Experience in data dictionary objects such as Domain, Data Element, Table, Search help, Views.
? Experience in Selection Screen.
? Expertise in ABAP Classical, ALV and Interactive Reports.
? Experience in Job Scheduling.
? Extensive experience in analysing runtime errors and debugging ABAP programs.
? Performed Performance Tuning & Analysis using ABAP/4 Runtime Analysis Tool and SQL trace for query optimization to improve overall performance of several programs.
? Good knowledge in enhancement like BADIS and USER EXITS and how to add additional
Functionality to standard transactions.
? Good knowledge in BAPI and how to access this customized BAPI or standard BAPI from java code And display output in internet Explorer.
? Good exposure in ALE, IDOC.
