About the department

Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) is a team of 700+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. The main role of DD&IT India is to \'manage\' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management. Cross DD&IT Technologies is an integral part of the DD&IT and is responsible for managing development, support and maintenance processes for Analytics, Integration, Data management and Automation solutions for all Regions in Novo Nordisk.

The Position

As a SAP ABAP developer, You will be responsible for:

• Performing ABAP programming in both ECC & S4 HANA, testing, and debugging activities related to the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP solutions across the value chain.
• You will be responsible for Providing technical SAP support and communicate resolutions to all primary stakeholders, Line of Business and external vendors across ARTs and across the IT units in DD&IT.
• You will serve self-driven SAP technical SME in an Agile team and self-manage capacity and participate and contribute to PI planning, Iteration planning and other Agile events.
• You will be responsible to Deliver change requests independently by rendering design, test and deployment of ABAP code in SAP production instances, Performing ABAP programming, testing, and debugging work related to the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP modules.

Qualifications

• 7-9 years of SAP development experience using ABAP and 5 years of experience in developing in S/4 HANA is a must.
• Bachelor or similar graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration combined with additional relevant IT and business experience.
• Knowledge on OData, AMDP, CDS Views are essential.
• Experience in UI5/Fiori development with deep knowledge of backend development configuration (OData services, Annotations, RFC/BAPI)
• Workflow with BRF/BTP knowledge is preferable.
