Job Summary (List Format) SAP Core ABAP (4+ Years Experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP solutions based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather and analyze technical requirements.
- Optimize and analyze existing ABAP code to improve performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Document technical specifications and ensure adherence to SAP best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and conversions as needed.
Must-Have Skills:
- Expert in SAP ABAP programming, including Reports (Classical & Interactive), ALV, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework), and Data Dictionary objects.
- Proficient in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
- Hands-on experience with BAPI, RFC development, Proxies, and ODATA.
- Skilled in debugging and performance optimization.
- Experience in module pool and dialog programming.
- Proficient in IDoc and ALE processing.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Exposure to SAP migrations and data conversions.
- Knowledge of core SAP Modules (such as SD, MM, FI) and their integration points.
- Experience with SAP Workflow development.
- Familiarity with SAP Integration technologies (e.g., SAP PI/PO).
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA).
