Capita Technologies is currently looking for an SAP ABAP Consultant to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Experience: Minimum 8+ years

Responsibilities:

Strong ABAP development skills, experience in requirement analysis and technical specification writing, collaboration with functional teams, performance optimization of ABAP code, and creation of technical documentation.

This role involves designing, coding, testing, and implementing custom SAP solutions to meet business needs and best practices within the SAP environment.

Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Design, develop, test, and implement custom SAP solutions using the ABAP programming language.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ABAP solutions with business processes.

Optimize existing ABAP code for improved performance and efficiency within the SAP environment.

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all ABAP developments, facilitating knowledge transfer and future maintenance.

Ensure all development adheres to SAP best practices.

Qualification and skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

At least 8 years of experience as an SAP ABAP consultant

Extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing custom SAP solutions.

Proficiency in ABAP programming language.

Experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications.

Strong understanding of SAP architecture and best practices.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with functional teams. Proficiency in translating business requirements into technical solutions and managing application releases and fixes.

Team leadership and collaboration with stakeholders skills are vital.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strong communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good verbal and written communication in English.
