Job Title: SAP ABAP Consultant - Senior Role

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP ABAP Consultant for a senior role based in Delhi. The ideal candidate should have 6 to 9 years of experience as an application programmer in ABAP with strong exposure to the S/4 HANA platform. This role requires in-depth experience in implementation and enhancement projects, as well as expertise in migration programs, interface design/development, and ALV reports/enhancements. The candidate will work on RICE items, custom ABAP reports, and SAP enhancements using a variety of development tools and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Development & Implementation: Work on the development and implementation of RICE items (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) with a strong focus on flat file mechanisms.
Technical Design Compliance: Review and understand technical design documents to ensure development work aligns with specifications.
Development Time Estimation: Accurately estimate development time and plan accordingly to meet project deadlines.
Custom Development: Utilize IT development standards to develop custom ABAP reports, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and workflows. Enhance standard ABAP programs using User-Exits, BADI, enhancement points, and other enhancement techniques.
Adobe Forms & DMEE: Develop and maintain Adobe Forms and DMEE (Data Medium Exchange Engine).
ODATA & CDS Views: Work with ODATA and CDS (Core Data Services) views; experience in these areas is highly desirable.
HANA Views Development: Knowledge of developing different views in HANA (Attribute & Analytical Views) and creating calculation views from Analytical Views is a plus.
Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive and thorough technical program documentation, including specifications, test conditions, test plans, and test data.
Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues by analyzing programs and determining effective solutions. Ensure programs perform optimally.
Collaboration: Work effectively and independently on assigned objects. Assist functional teams in testing efforts when necessary, including preparing test data.
Requirements and Skills:
Experience: Minimum of 6 to 9 years as an application programmer in ABAP, with significant exposure to the S/4 HANA platform.
Technical Expertise:

• Strong experience in SAP ABAP development, including ALV reports, enhancements, and Smart Forms.
• Experience in migration programs, interface design/development, and implementation.
• Proficiency in developing RICE items and using flat file mechanisms.
• Knowledge of Adobe Forms, DMEE, ODATA, and CDS views is desirable.
• Familiarity with FIORI/UI5 and HANA views (Attribute, Analytical, Calculation) is a plus.

Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills to collaborate with functional teams and document technical processes comprehensively.
Nice to Have:
