CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client is looking for an experienced SAP ABAP and BTP Developer who's comfortable working across S/4HANA, ABAP Cloud, and key SAP BTP services. This role focuses on building high-quality technical solutions, solving tough problems, and partnering with functional and project teams to keep SAP operations running smoothly.
Location: 100% Remote - must work EST hours
Pay Rate: $87.00 - $91.00/hour
Education: Bachelor's degree required
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain ABAP programs, CDS Views, OData services, enhancements, Adobe Forms, and EDI/IDocs.
Develop Fiori apps using ABAP Cloud and RAP, including side-by-side extensions on BTP.
Troubleshoot and tune performance across multiple SAP landscapes.
Turn functional requirements into solid technical designs and deliverables.
Support daily operations, break/fix work, and project initiatives; participate in on-call rotations.
Run working sessions with business users and apply OSS notes when needed.
Follow established coding standards and align development with the broader SAP roadmap.
Required Skills
8+ years of ABAP development experience.
Strong OOP background and proficiency with modern ABAP syntax.
Hands-on experience with OData, SOAP APIs, CDS Views, BOPF, RAP, and Fiori.
Solid understanding of SAP landscape architecture, performance tuning, and upgrade activities.
Familiarity with RTP, PTP, OTC, and RTR processes; exposure to EWM/QAR is a plus.
Experience with SAP BTP tools such as Integration Suite, Build Apps, API Management, and Event Mesh.
Preferred
SAP EWM or RF programming experience.
Experience with S/4HANA 2023 or later.
MDG knowledge and data extraction via CDS or classic extractors.
Experience using SAP Joule for AI-assisted development.
