Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sanskrit / Hindi / Humanities from a recognized university B.Ed. is mandatory Strong command over Sanskrit grammar, literature, shlokas, and pronunciation Prior teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE school preferred Good understanding of lesson planning and assessment methods

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Sanskrit to middle school students as per the CBSE curriculum Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, reading materials, and grammar exercises Conduct assessments, class tests, recitations, and maintain academic records Guide students in shloka chanting, translation, and comprehension Create an interactive and student-friendly learning environment Encourage cultural understanding through stories, scriptures, and activities Coordinate with other teachers for integrated academic activities Participate in school events, assemblies, PTMs, and academic workshops Ensure timely submission of student grades, reports, and documentation

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of Sanskrit grammar, literature, and pronunciation Good communication and classroom management skills Ability to simplify classical concepts for students Patience, clarity, and passion for teaching the language Ability to motivate students and create interest in Sanskrit
