We are now expanding our cultural offerings and seeking an exceptional Sanskrit teacher to join our team.
Position: Online Sanskrit & Vedic Literature Teacher
We are seeking a passionate and fluent Sanskrit teacher to conduct live, online, interactive classes for children (ages 6-14). The ideal candidate must be able to translate and explain complex spiritual concepts in a way that is accessible and fun for young learners.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery:
Teach Sanskrit language basics, pronunciation, and recitation of various
Shlokas (e.g., from the Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads)
.
Vedic Literature:
Introduce and explain key stories, concepts, and values from
Vedic texts and mythological epics
in an age-appropriate and engaging manner.
Interactive Engagement:
Plan and deliver highly interactive and fun sessions, incorporating stories, visual aids, and memory techniques suitable for online learning.
Feedback & Reporting:
Provide regular progress feedback to parents (using standard Greenfire India templates) and adapt lessons based on student needs.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Sanskrit Fluency:
Native or near-native fluency in Sanskrit recitation and reading
. Deep knowledge of Shlokas, Mantras, and foundational Vedic texts is essential.
English Fluency (Mandatory):
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
to effectively explain complex Sanskrit concepts and communicate clearly with students and parents.
Teaching Experience:
Prior experience teaching Sanskrit or related cultural subjects to
children
(ages 6-14) in an online environment is highly preferred.
Technical Proficiency:
Comfort using online teaching tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) and creating engaging digital content.
