Sampling Coordinator-Leather Handbags Role & Responsibilities: close coordination with Leather Designer, Merchandiser and Sample team. The Sampling Coordinator will be responsible to supervise the making of mocks, design sample with sampling department as per the final tech pack received from design department.
Alongside prepare the tentative
cost sheet for the sample.To supervise the correction/improvisation of design samples basis the feedback of design selection meeting till final sample is approved along with costing. Basis the final approved sample & tech pack from designer, to get the final Leather Handbags and Swatches for Colours prepared Preparing PP sample docket and handing over to production team \xe2\x80\x93 Prepares
production file with details documents, approvals, samples, trims and swatches
and comments on sample from Merchants. To prepare sample sheet document specifying details of each style.
Coordination with sample team and Pattern Master if any clarification is required during sampling. Supervising the sampling floor and ensuring efficiency of sampling department in Leather Handbags Required Skills & Experience::

• Experience in Leather Handbags, Vintage Leathers, Leather washing effects, Leather Colour Treatments and techniques is a must
• Have a flair for communicating with diverse set of people & Vendors
• Efficient in planning and follow up (Time and action calendar)
• Ability in sourcing Trims, Weaves, Crochet, Leather, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Good interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
• Good negotiation skills
