Job Description

Collect coal samples from designated sampling points (manual or mechanical) according to established procedures and safety guidelines. Ensure samples are representative of the entire lot or shipment. Label and document all samples accurately with necessary details (e.g., time, date, source, shift, etc.). Prepare and process samples for laboratory testing (e.g., crushing, splitting, drying). Maintain cleanliness and functionality of sampling equipment. Assist in loading samples for transport to laboratory facilities. Work closely with lab personnel, operators, and quality control teams. Follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE, lockout/tagout procedures, and hazard communication. Maintain sampling logs, reports, and records as required. Report abnormalities in material consistency or equipment malfunctions.
