Salon Manager
to lead day-to-day operations and ensure the smooth running of the outlet.
Position Overview
The
Salon Manager
will be responsible for managing overall salon operations, leading the staff team, ensuring high-quality service delivery, achieving business targets, and maintaining brand standards. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong customer relationship skills, team management capabilities, and commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Oversee daily salon operations ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Manage appointment scheduling, client flow, and service efficiency.
Ensure all salon equipment and products are maintained and stocked properly.
Implement and maintain brand SOPs, hygiene, and service standards.
Sales & Business Development
Drive salon revenue through effective sales, upselling, and promotional strategies.
Monitor daily/weekly/monthly business performance and achieve sales targets.
Identify local marketing opportunities and collaborate with management for brand promotions.
Maintain strong relationships with clients to increase customer retention and referrals.
Team Leadership & Training
Lead, motivate, and supervise hairstylists, beauticians, and front-desk staff.
Ensure staff punctuality, grooming, and adherence to professional conduct.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff skillsets and service quality.
Handle team performance reviews and coordinate with HR for recruitment and scheduling.
Customer Experience
Ensure every client receives a superior salon experience with personalized attention.
Manage customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
Maintain high client satisfaction and ensure repeat business.
Financial & Inventory Management
Oversee billing, cash handling, and daily sales reconciliation.
Manage inventory, reorder salon products, and prevent stock shortages or wastage.
Prepare reports on salon performance, expenses, and profitability.
Key Requirements
Graduate or Diploma in Beauty Management / Hospitality / Business Administration.
5-8 years of experience
in salon, spa, or premium retail management.
Strong people management and communication skills.
Proven ability to drive sales and meet revenue targets.
Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving ability.
Knowledge of beauty and grooming trends preferred.
Proficient in salon software and MS Office tools.
