Sales Person We are looking for a Sales Engineer with a passion for 3D printing, rapid prototyping, and custom product development. You will be responsible for building relationships with product design teams, R&D units, startups, and OEMs, converting inquiries into business, and providing technically sound solutions using our in-house additive manufacturing capabilities.
Key Responsibility:
Identify and pursue sales opportunities in prototyping, 3D printing, and small batch production
Interact with R&D teams, design engineers, and startups to understand functional requirements
Provide application engineering support - suggest the right materials, processes, and finishes
Prepare cost estimations and proposals based on part complexity and production methods
Manage client onboarding, project scoping, and delivery timelines
Collaborate with design and production to ensure quality and turnaround expectations
Track project status using CRM and maintain regular client communication.
Skills Required :
3-6 years experience in technical sales or customer-facing roles in 3D printing, product prototyping, or CNC/rapid manufacturing
Sound understanding of additive technologies (FDM, SLA, SLS, MJF, etc.)
Familiar with design for manufacturing (DFM) principles and CAD file interpretation
Strong verbal and written communication with ability to explain technical topics clearly
Customer-first attitude with ability to handle quick turn-around projects
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Design / Materials Science or equivalent
Exposure to automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics, or medical devices
Understanding of material properties, post-processing, and tolerances
Hands-on with slicer tools or 3D design software like SolidWorks, Fusion360, etc.
Prior experience in service bureau or rapid manufacturing startup.
