Role Overview
The Salesman will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and promoting printing services to garment manufacturers, exporters, boutiques, and corporate clients in the Tirupur region. The role demands market knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to convert leads into sales.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development
Identify and visit potential clients such as garment units, buying offices, brands, printers, and exporters.
Promote company products/services (printing, packaging, labels, tags, stickers, brochures, offset/digital printing, etc.).
Generate leads and convert them into orders.
Meet daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.
2. Client Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Handle customer queries related to price, quality, design, delivery timelines.
Ensure timely follow-up for payments and repeated orders.
3. Market Research & Networking
Understand local market trends in the printing and garment industry.
Gather competitor information and identify opportunities for sales growth.
Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
4. Coordination
Coordinate with the production/design team to understand job requirements.
Ensure job sheets are clear and correct.
Follow up with internal teams for on-time delivery.
5. Reporting
Maintain daily sales reports.
Update client visit details and follow-up actions.
Share monthly performance reports with management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 12th pass; Diploma/Degree preferred.
Proven experience in field sales (printing industry experience is a plus).
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Strong market knowledge of Tirupur garment hubs.
Ability to work independently and meet targets.
