Role Overview
The Store Salesman plays a
key frontline role
in ensuring an excellent shopping experience for customers, maintaining attractive product displays, and achieving store sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist walk-in customers politely and professionally.
Explain product features, health benefits, and usage ideas to customers.
Promote and upsell jaggery products, bhaji, superfoods & seasonal items.
Achieve daily and monthly store sales targets.
Maintain clean, attractive, and well-organized product displays.
Handle billing, cash, and digital payments accurately.
Manage stock levels on shelves and coordinate with the store manager for replenishment.
Collect customer feedback and encourage repeat visits.
Follow proper hygiene, dress code, and store discipline.
Key Skills & Competencies
Good communication and customer service skills.
Friendly, energetic, and sales-focused attitude.
Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of smartphones, POS systems, and digital billing.
Comfortable using WhatsApp, simple apps, or Excel for daily tasks.
Basic math and billing knowledge (POS machine or manual).
Honest, responsible, and punctual.
Knowledge or interest in healthy & traditional food products is a plus.
