Technical Architects work to define the business and/or technology architecture. Areas of concentration include:
Technical & Analytical Salesforce Expertise:
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources; reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from the true underlying needs
Provide expert understanding of Salesforce's capabilities and limitations and clearly communicate those to business and technical stakeholders
Advise on leading practices and technology/industry trends, application/integration architecture, solution design, and implementation leading practices
Present technical alternatives and supporting recommendations aligned with the business and technology requirement.
Perform technical architecture and ERD diagramming
Communication & Client Engagement:
Lead discovery workshops, which includes the facilitation of large audiences, solution presentations, functional design discussions, technical design discussions, dev ops & environment strategy and architecture discussions
Expert presentation and communication skills to both create and deliver top-notch presentations, demos and training to a broad audience including C-suite to functional teams to technical teams.
Partner with both Delivery and Pre-Sales team to project estimating, pod planning, contracting and technical staffing requirements
Work closely with Project Manager to actively support and guide Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Demos and Retrospectives throughout Sprint(s)
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with customer technical teams as part of the project closure activities
Technical Leadership & Coaching
:
Manage technical and/or functional teams to design, build, test, and deploy applications
Identify risks that threaten project success and recommend workarounds
Be an effective leader, mentor, and champion of your team and provide technical guidance to Technical Leads, Developers and Quality Analysts

8+ years of technical requirements gathering experience for a mid-to-large sized organization, or direct experience leading transformational CRM projects
Experience implementing the Agile project lifecycles and tools (i.e. SCRUM, user stories, etc.)
Previous experience and/or desire to train, coach and guide members of varying skill sets and roles
* Experience with estimation/sizing and SOW/Change Order contracting
