ROLE DESCRIPTION
Qnity Electronics is seeking a Salesforce Senior Developer responsible for designing, building, and advancing enterprise CRM capabilities across Sales, Service, Experience/Community, and Platform. The role owns end?to?end solution delivery, including requirements gathering, technical design, development, test automation, secure deployment, and production support.
This role provides technical leadership by guiding junior developers and collaborating closely with product owners, architects, and business subject?matter experts. The role plays a critical part in the company's TSA exit, domain and branding modernization, and the broader CRM transformation toward a scalable, metadata?driven, API?first architecture. This role is responsible for acquiring, designing, implementing, and operating the organization's information technology solutions. Key areas of ownership include computer hardware, operating systems, communication networks, software applications, data processing environments, and security capabilities. The role also delivers application software development and technical solutions within defined project scopes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Implement scalable features on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Platform using Apex, LWC, Flows, Platform Events, and SOQL/SOSL.
  • Refactor legacy Process Builder/Workflow to Flow/Apex following platform limits and best practices.
  • Define and enforce engineering standards (naming, code review checklists, test coverage
85%, PMD/ESLint rules). * Build CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) with scratch orgs, unlocked packages, and automated testing.
  • Develop and secure integrations (REST/SOAP, Mulesoft or equivalent) for SSO, identity (SAML/OIDC), provisioning, and downstream systems (e.g., SAP, Data Lake, marketing/CPQ tools).
  • Externalize org settings via Custom Metadata/Settings; eliminate hard?coded values (e.g., email addresses, logos) to support domain/branding agility.
  • Modernize email/quote templates and Experience Cloud theming to Qnity standards; assist with domain changes and org?wide addresses in coordination with IT infrastructure.
  • Triage incidents, optimize performance (indexes, selective queries, bulkification), and steward org health (Security Health Check, field growth, governor limits).
  • Translate business goals into technical designs; create sequence/ER diagrams and decision records.
  • Mentor junior developers; provide technical guidance and light day?to?day coordination.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Education: Bachelor's in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of total software development experience with 3-5 years hands?on on Salesforce Platform delivering multi?cloud solutions (Sales/Service/Experience).
  • Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer I (required) / II (preferred); Admin, JavaScript Developer I, Integration Architect a plus.
  • Experience with Agentforce (Service console modernization), Knowledge, Omni?Channel, and case automation.
  • Experience modernizing templates, logos, and org?wide email addresses during domain transitions/brand upgrades.
  • Experience in regulated/B2B manufacturing environments and data protection standards.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Workday?driven requisition workflows, and collaboration via Microsoft 365/Teams.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • Advanced Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, SOQL performance tuning, asynchronous patterns (Batch, Queueable, Future), Platform Events.
  • CI/CD with source?driven development, scratch orgs, unlocked packages; Git branching strategies.
  • API design/consumption (REST/SOAP), integration middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), and event?driven patterns.
  • Security: Profiles/Permission Sets, Sharing, MFA/SSO (SAML/OIDC), secret management, field?level encryption patterns.
  • Test engineering: unit/integration tests, mocking frameworks, and quality gates.
