Position Overview

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions. You will work closely with marketing and technology teams to create personalized customer experiences, manage marketing automation processes, and ensure seamless campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, etc.).



Create and manage customer journeys, email campaigns, and triggered automations. Develop and optimize email templates using HTML, CSS, and AMPscript. Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and other third-party platforms. Build and maintain complex SQL queries for data segmentation and campaign targeting. Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement Ensure data hygiene, compliance with privacy regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.), and adherence to marketing best practices. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SFMC-related issues. Collaborate with marketing teams, business analysts, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions on time.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). Strong expertise in Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Content Builder. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, AMPscript, and SQL. Experience with integrating SFMC with Salesforce CRM and other APIs. Strong understanding of data segmentation, personalization, and dynamic content in marketing campaigns. Familiarity with marketing compliance standards (CAN-SPAM, GDPR). Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work night shifts to align with U.S. business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer certification(s). Experience with scripting languages like JavaScript for personalization and automation. Exposure to multi-channel marketing strategies (email, SMS, push notifications, advertising).
