About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Intermediate Salesforce Developer to join our GBS Salesforce team. You will work closely with our Senior Developer to support and enhance our Service Cloud and Experience Cloud solutions. This role involves a mix of
administrative and development tasks, focusing on query management and improvingcustomer and internal stakeholder experiences.
Day in the life:
You'll be perfect for the role if you have:
Assist in the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce Service Cloudand Experience Cloud solutions.
Technical Support within Service Cloud & Experience Cloud.
Configure, enhance and provide customise Salesforce Service and Experience
Clouds to meet business needs where salesforce standard solutions are not fit for purpose.
Develop Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning components to automate and optimize service processes.
Perform administrative tasks such as user management, data management, and report/dashboard creation.
Collaborate with Senior Developer, Product Owner, BA & at times, business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Assist in the testing, debugging, and documentation of Salesforce applications.
Support data migration, integration, and automation using Salesforce tools and APIs.
Contribute to Agile development cycles, participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
Stay updated with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to recommend improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: Ideally hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and
Experience Cloud or 2 years of Apex coding work experience.
Development Skills: Proven experience with Apex coding, Writing, Debugging and deploying Apex classes, triggers and batch jobs. Comfort with Apex syntax, data types, control statements, exception handing and best practices. Knowledge in how to write and run unit tests to ensure code quality and meet deployment requirements. Familiarity with SOQL and SOSL queries within Apex Code. Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce configuration.
Administrative Skills: Salesforce admin capabilities including user setup, profiles/permissions, data management, and report/dashboard creation.
Certifications: Computer Science/Software Engineering/Information
Technology or ideally Salesforce Platform Developer I or equivalent preferred. Frameworks & Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Technical Skills: Ideally, understanding of Salesforce architecture and data model.
Ideally, experience with Salesforce automation tools like Process Builder,
Flow, Workflow.
o Knowledge of SOQL, SOSL, and REST/SOAP APIs for integrations.
o Experience with query management solutions and customer support
workflows.

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
o Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
o Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
o Team player with the ability to collaborate e ectively with crossfunctional
