Role: Salesforce Developer - Communications Cloud

Work Location: Offshore - India / 100% Remote

Project Duration: 6 Months with possibility for an extension

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Communications Cloud Developer to design, develop, and implement scalable solutions for telecommunications and communications service providers. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) Communications Cloud, OmniStudio, and Salesforce core development, with a focus on delivering high-quality, customer-centric digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and customize solutions using Salesforce Communications Cloud (Vlocity) to support telecom and communications business processes. Build and maintain OmniStudio components including OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and FlexCards. Configure and extend Product Catalog, Pricing, and Promotions for communications use cases. Develop Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura components as needed. Integrate Salesforce with external systems (BSS/OSS, billing, order management, APIs) using REST/SOAP and middleware tools. Support order capture, order decomposition, and fulfillment workflows. Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices for performance, scalability, and security. Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and release management. Provide production support and troubleshoot issues as required.
Required Qualifications

6+ years of Salesforce development experience. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Communications Cloud (Vlocity). Strong experience with OmniStudio (OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures). Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC). Experience with Salesforce integrations and APIs. Solid understanding of telecom/communications domain concepts (products, pricing, orders, billing). Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) certifications. Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification. Experience with CPQ, Order Management, or Billing systems. Knowledge of DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, CI/CD pipelines). Experience working in large-scale enterprise Salesforce implementations.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ?90,000.00 - ?100,000.00 per month
