About the Role
The Technology & Innovation team develops innovative technical solutions to support Client's Public Safety organization and other missions improving safety for users, protecting privacy, and reducing litigation risk.
The team's Salesforce-based systems serve as the core recordkeeping and workflow platform for law enforcement data requests and related public safety operations.
As a Salesforce Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable solutions in Salesforce to support internal teams and external law enforcement partners. This role focuses on building robust applications, automations, and integrations that drive operational efficiency and improve user experience.
What the Candidate Will Do * Design, develop, and maintain solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and related technologies.

• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Build, enhance, and maintain Flows, Lightning pages, and data models to streamline business processes.
• Support integration with external systems and web portals through secure APIs and middleware components.
• Maintain high code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to development best practices.
• Participate in release cycles including build, testing, deployment, and post-deployment validation.
• Stay current with the latest Salesforce platform features and recommend opportunities for system optimization.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Proficiency in Apex programming and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Strong JavaScript skills for front-end customization and LWC development.
• Experience with Salesforce configuration (objects, workflows, validation rules, and permissions).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Service Cloud implementation or customization.
• Familiarity with Aura Components.
• Salesforce Flow design and development experience.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling and schema design.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development processes and DevOps tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD).
