Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud
Define and optimize data architecture layers (DLO, DMO, DSO) for scalability and cost efficiency
Establish best practices for data ingestion, identity resolution, unification, calculated insights, and activation
Analyze and optimize credit consumption across ingestion, federation, acceleration, and activation
Partner with enterprise data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, MDM) to enable zero-copy or accelerated data flows
Define and enforce data governance, security, lineage, and compliance standards
Oversee integrations with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and third-party systems
Act as the technical authority and solution advisor for all Salesforce Data Cloud initiatives
Mentor consultants and associates; create architectural templates and reusable components Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in data architecture, CDP, or MarTech ecosystems
3 4 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Genie/CDP)
Strong understanding of CDP architecture principles, identity graphs, consent models, and data federation
Proven expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud credit models and cost-optimization strategies
Experience integrating Salesforce Data Cloud with Marketing Cloud and enterprise systems using APIs, MuleSoft, or data pipelines
Ability to translate complex data ecosystems into clear, scalable architectural blueprints
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Good to Have
Salesforce certifications: Data Cloud Consultant, Application Architect, Marketing Cloud Architect
Experience with other CDPs such as Adobe Experience Platform, Segment, Tealium, Treasure Data
Knowledge of modern data architectures (Snowflake, Databricks, Lakehouse, Data Mesh)
Familiarity with data privacy and governance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA)
