1. As a Salesforce - CPQ Developer, you will:



Lead the end-to-end architecture, development, and enhancement of Salesforce CPQ solutions across Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Billing. Design and maintain scalable product configurations, pricing logic, discounting frameworks, guided selling, approval workflows, and quote templates. Build and optimize complex pricing models including list pricing, volume/discount schedules, tiered pricing, ramp deals, usage-based pricing, and multi-dimensional pricing. Develop and refine contract management, renewals, amendments, co-terming, and subscription lifecycle processes. Integrate Salesforce CPQ with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), Eloqua/Marketo, and other downstream applications using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and MuleSoft or similar iPaaS tools. Create custom Apex classes, triggers, batch/queueable jobs, LWCs, Aura components, Flows, Process Builders, and validation rules. Manage and reduce technical debt while ensuring system reliability, performance optimization, and adherence to governor limits. Support scalable data model design to handle growth from hundreds to thousands of quotes monthly. Lead code reviews, establish coding standards, and mentor junior developers. Participate in agile ceremonies and drive CPQ-related user stories to completion. Provide advanced (Level 3) support for complex CPQ issues and production incidents.

2. What You Bring to the Table:



8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, Triggers, Flows, etc.). 3+ years of deep enterprise-level Salesforce CPQ implementation/customization experience. Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (required). Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification (strongly preferred). Successful delivery of at least 2 full lifecycle CPQ implementations. Expert understanding of key CPQ objects such as Quote, Quote Line, Product Rules, Price Rules, Configuration Attributes, Summary Variables, and more. Hands-on experience with Advanced Approvals, Dual Quote Sync, Contracted Pricing, renewal/amendment logic, and subscription management. Experience integrating CPQ with systems like NetSuite, Zuora, Stripe, or Avalara. Proficiency with Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD tools (Copado, Gearset, AutoRabit, or similar). Experience working with Salesforce Billing or Advanced Billing add-ons (a plus). Strong ability to work with large data volumes, complex SKU architectures, and high-performance quote generation environments. Nice-to-Have: Additional Salesforce certifications (Sales/Service Cloud, Field Service, Revenue Cloud), Revenue Cloud/Industries CPQ experience, JavaScript/TypeScript skills, or experience with DocuSign CLM, Conga, or Apttus.

3. You should possess the ability to:



Architect and deliver scalable CPQ solutions that support complex pricing and quoting needs. Translate business requirements across Sales, RevOps, Finance, and Product into technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve sophisticated CPQ configuration, pricing, and quoting challenges. Optimize performance for large data sets and high-volume quote processing. Ensure clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices. Collaborate effectively in cross-functional, agile-driven environments. Lead and coach developers while upholding development standards and coding excellence.
