Salesforce Administrator
About the Role:
The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for managing and optimizing Salesforce environments to support business processes and ensure data integrity. This role involves configuring Salesforce applications, maintaining security settings, managing user access, and supporting integrations with other enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and experience in Salesforce administration within complex organizational environments.
Responsibilities:
Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and workflows.
Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, and permission sets to ensure proper access control.
Maintain data quality through regular audits, deduplication, and validation rules.
Develop and manage reports and dashboards to support business insights.
Implement and monitor security settings in compliance with AFSC's digital security policies.
Support integrations with third-party applications and enterprise systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Provide end-user training and support for Salesforce functionality.
Stay updated on Salesforce releases and recommend enhancements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator in enterprise environments.
Proficiency in Salesforce configuration (objects, workflows, validation rules, reports).
Strong understanding of Salesforce security model and data management best practices.
Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience.
Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange apps and integration tools.
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST) is an asset.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201).
Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM 211).
Additional certifications (Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant) are a plus.
