About the Role
Xylem Learning is looking for an energetic and results-oriented
Sales Trainer
to drive end-to-end learning initiatives across our
Upskilling
division. You will be responsible for onboarding new hires, upskilling existing team members, and retraining underperformers--ensuring every salesperson is fully equipped to succeed.
We're seeking someone who is not just technically sound in digital tools and instructional methods but also approachable, adaptable, and committed to building sales excellence through ongoing coaching and development.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Facilitation
Deliver structured induction and refresher training programs for Upskilling.
Ensure high participation and timely completion of training sessions.
Create engaging, product-focused training materials aligned with team objectives.
Commerce Program Enablement
Train teams on digital marketing
Prepare sales staff to confidently handle student/parent queries with program-specific knowledge.
Use role-plays and simulations to strengthen sales counseling skills.
Digital Sales & Upskilling Orientation
Introduce sales teams to digital lead-generation strategies (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, AI tools).
Encourage best practices in CRM and digital-first communication.
Teach consultative sales techniques tailored to working professionals and career-switchers.
Retraining & Performance Coaching
Identify employees with performance gaps and design targeted retraining plans.
Deliver personalized coaching sessions and track improvement.
Share retraining outcomes and progress reports with leadership.
Build a supportive learning environment that fosters motivation and growth.
On-the-Job Training (OJT)
Provide real-time guidance during OJT and give actionable feedback.
Conduct buddy sessions and 1:1 coaching to reinforce knowledge.
Monitor session quality, arrange shadowing, and address learning gaps.
Feedback, Reporting & Documentation
Collect regular feedback from trainees to refine programs.
Maintain accurate training records, reports, and performance dashboards.
Present progress updates to management with insights and recommendations.
Program Development & Innovation
Suggest new tools, methods, and modules to strengthen training delivery.
Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and evolving learner needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align training with business goals.
Who You Are
Strong communicator with natural facilitation skills.
Experienced in digital marketing, sales training, or EdTech.
Analytical yet empathetic--skilled at diagnosing issues and retraining effectively.
Proficient at tracking metrics and adapting training strategies.
