To enhance the performance and productivity of the sales team by conducting structured product and skill training sessions as per
Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (MSIL)
guidelines. The Internal Sales Trainer ensures that all dealership sales personnel are well-trained in product knowledge, customer handling, sales process, and dealership standards, thereby improving customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:1. Training & Development
Conduct
induction programs
for new sales recruits on company policies, sales process, and Maruti Suzuki product portfolio.
Deliver
regular refresher training sessions
on new models, features, and technical updates.
Train sales consultants on
soft skills, communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management (CRM)
.
Ensure all sales staff meet the
Maruti Suzuki certification and assessment standards
.
2. Performance Monitoring & Evaluation
Evaluate trainees through
assessments, quizzes, and role plays
to measure learning effectiveness.
Identify
training needs
based on performance reports and feedback from sales managers.
Track and maintain
training attendance, evaluation records, and progress reports
.
3. Coordination & Compliance
Coordinate with
Maruti Suzuki Regional Training Managers
and
Dealer HR
for program schedules and training updates.
Ensure compliance with
Maruti Suzuki training norms and documentation requirements
.
Maintain the
training calendar
, training records, and feedback reports in alignment with dealership and OEM guidelines.
4. Continuous Improvement
Recommend and implement
new training methods
to improve engagement and effectiveness.
Provide post-training feedback to management to bridge skill or knowledge gaps.
Stay updated on
Maruti Suzuki policies, new launches, and market trends
to ensure relevant training content.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong knowledge of
Maruti Suzuki products and dealership operations
.
Ability to engage and motivate a sales team.
Good analytical, planning, and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and digital training tools.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate in
Business Administration / Marketing / Automobile Engineering
(MBA preferred).
Minimum
2-5 years of experience
in automobile sales or training (preferably with Maruti Suzuki).
Certification as
Internal Trainer from Maruti Suzuki
will be an added advantage.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Training hours delivered per month.
Percentage of sales staff certified by Maruti Suzuki.
Improvement in sales performance post-training.
Employee feedback and training effectiveness scores.
