who will be responsible for training new sales employees, enhancing the capabilities of the existing retail and field sales teams, and ensuring strong product knowledge across the department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in improving sales conversions, customer handling, and product understanding.
Key Responsibilities1. Training & Development
Conduct onboarding training sessions for new sales employees.
Train team members on product knowledge, features, specifications, USPs, and applications.
Provide training on customer handling, objection management, and closing techniques.
Develop training modules, presentations, and scripts for sales teams.
2. Retail Team Support
Conduct regular in-store training sessions for the retail sales executives.
Guide the retail team on improving customer engagement and product presentation.
Conduct weekly or bi-weekly meetings with the retail team to review performance and challenges.
3. Product Knowledge Enhancement
Ensure every sales and retail team member has detailed knowledge of all Wonderwoods products.
Collaborate with the product and marketing team for updated product materials.
Create product comparison sheets and unique selling points for each category.
4. Performance Monitoring
Monitor the performance of trained employees.
Evaluate knowledge retention and improvement in sales performance after training.
Maintain training reports, attendance, and performance evaluation sheets.
5. Continuous Improvement
Identify skill gaps within the sales and retail teams and implement relevant training plans.
Recommend improvements in sales processes based on field observations.
Stay updated with market trends and competitor products to enhance training quality.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
2-5 years of experience as a Sales Trainer, Sales Coach, or Sales Executive.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Excellent knowledge of sales techniques and customer interaction.
Ability to conduct engaging training sessions and handle group activities.
Experience in retail or building material/FMCG/flooring industry is an added advantage.
